Madeline Tippett

Maddie is a first year coach at Red Storm who has resided in Baton Rouge for three years. She comes from a military family and has lived in over eight locations across the country.
She is currently a student at LSU and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in special and general education with a minor in ESL.
Being a military kid, Maddie has played volleyball in several states such as; California, Virginia, and North Carolina where she has earned achievements such as; All-District, MVP, and All-Region. She has had experience coaching at the elementary school OLGC Catholic School (Vienna, Virginia) and coaching club ball for NC Coastal Volleyball Club (Washington, North Carolina).
When asked what she loves about coaching Maddie responded, “I have always had a passion for coaching. The ability to help and encourage others is something that has been instilled in me since I was a child, and have carried through life since. Coaching is one of the few professions where I can pour myself into athletes, and receive just as much knowledge, benefit, and experience in return. Being able to establish confidence, discipline, and a kind character within young athletes is something truly special.”
When Maddie is not coaching she enjoys; spending time with her friends and family, working out, eating out, and taking care of her dog Murphy.
