Diamond Jones

Diamond is a former player and two year coach at Red Storm who has resided in Gonzales Louisiana for 23 years and is currently an employee at Fidelity Sportsplex and a club administrator for Red Storm Volleyball.
She attended and played volleyball at East Ascension High School where she earned honors such as; First Team- All District her sophomore year, District MVP her junior and senior year, and All-Metro her sophomore-senior year. She was also an All-State selection and was a member of the 2018 All-Star Team. She furthered her academic and athletic career at Wallace State Community College where she was named First Team All- Conference and Pearl River Community College where she was also named First Team All-Conference and finished her season leading the NJCAA in kills per set. Diamond was an assistant coach at East Ascension High School for a year and she coached club volleyball at Coastal South Volleyball Academy (Poplarville, Mississippi) for one year.
When asked what she loved about coaching Diamond replied, “ I love leaving positive impacts on the younger generation. It warms my heart to know that someone looks up to me and that the lessons that I teach them will follow them all of their lives! On and off the court.”
When she is not coaching Diamond enjoys; reading, writing, and spending time with her daughter.
